It's one thing to require player's who purchase their games used to cough up extra moolah in order to access the multiplayer components of a game, it's quite another to block access to large chunks of the single-player campaign. Well that seems to be exactly what KOA: Reckoning publisher Electronic Arts is doing with their upcoming RPG developed by 38 Studios and Big Huge Games. So I guess we can't call them an online pass anymore can we?

While the upcoming Kinect Star Wars has had a lot of shit talked about it since having players go hands on with it at E3 and other press events, it does make for one hell of a commercial. The major powers in this current so-called “Console War” may just have come to the negotiating table a bit early.
