My god Capcom, when you make a trailer you don’t mess around! Capcom’s Triple Impact trailer for their upcoming Resident Evil: Operation Racoon City is quite possibly one of the best I’ve seen in years. There was tension, there was suspense, there was Zombies, and oh the sweet sweet over the top action!
I find it disgusting that EA would invoke it’s First Amendment rights while openly attacking them by lobbying to get bills like SOPA passed. It’s a scary truth of our time and points to just how much power the corporations hold in this country. If you are not familiar with SOPA, it is the Stop Online Piracy Act and is basically designed to let content distributors block access to sites that knowingly, or unknowingly contain copyrighted material…
A few months back talk of accounts on Xbox Live getting hacked started rumbling across the internet. In response to this Microsoft issued a statement saying that it’s service had not been hacked, but that this in fact was a rather complex form of phishing. Maybe so, maybe not. But Xbox Live users are still complaining about this type of thing occurring, and it would seem Microsoft has done very little to stop it…

I do enjoy me some Co-Op goodness, and the new ‘Deep Dive’ trailer for the Syndicate reboot EA and Strabreeze Studios released today is all about the Co-Op baby! Old school gamers can bitch all they want about EA “betraying the brand” in this latest re-booting of a franchise, I don’t care. It’s got four player Co-Op so I’m absolutely giving this one a shot…
Perhaps you thought that the unholy abortion of a trend that is retailer exclusive pre-order bonuses died with 2011? Not so my friends as today EA and Bioware detailed their plans for Mass Effect 3′s retailer specific pre-order bonuses for EB, Gamestop, and EA’s Origin service. And away we go…
While all MMORPG launches are fraught with drama, Bioware’s Star Wars: The Old Republic has seen even more so due to the fact that it carries our beloved IP’s name on the box. Well the drama continues as Bioware has gone ahead and disabled players ability to post on the official forums late last night. Here is what they had to say…
Every year Valve’s Steam platform has ridiculously great sales for the holidays. This year was no different and saw hordes of gamers logging in to purchase and play the latest and greatest titles at discount prices, pushing the service over the 5 million concurrent users milestone…
This is what low level players experienced late last week after visiting the planet Ilum and looting containers found there. Ilum is a considered high level content in The Old Republic and Bioware decided that these players were in fact exploiting the system and started swinging the ban-hammer. Cries of outrage and dirty pool were the communities response on the game’s official forums through the weekend, and The Old Republic’s Community Manager Stephen Reid finally issued a statement today…
